Heroin uncovered during hotel room search in Toms River
375 heroin waxfolds stamped "Lucious" were uncovered in a Toms River Hotel during a police search earlier this month, according to authorities.
Surveillance by Toms River police of a hotel room at the Comfort Inn on Route 37 led to a judge granting a search warrant.
23-year-old Dion Holmes of Lakewood was arrested and charged with multiple drug-related counts, according to Toms River Police Department spokesman Ralph Stocco. Authorities also found more than $6,000 in cash.
Holmes was charged with possession of heroin, distribution of heroin and possession of heroin with the intent to distribute.
