Four arrests, the seizure of 200 bags of heroin, oxycontin and a .22 caliber handgun following raids on two apartments in Toms River.

Prosecutor Marlene Lynch Ford says the arrest took place last Thursday on New  Street,     the culmination of an investigation into drug activity in the shore area by Toms River Police and the Prosecutor's Special Operations Group.

Ford says Toms River Police ESU identified Apartments 2111 and 2117 New Street Apt 3 as being utilized to facilitate drug distribution activities.

Arrested were Toms River Residents Leo Johnson, 36, Krista Huerta, 39, and Danilo Garcia, 35,  as well as Michael Bezak, 33, of Waretown. Johnson and Huerta, face drug and weapons possession charges, along with intent to distribute within 500 feet of a public park with bail set at $150,000. Garcia faces numerous drug counts with bail set at $50,000 and Bezak of Letts Landing Avenue is charged with heroin possession and was released.
