Over a dozen teams of New Jersey's finest showed off their skills last week in the second annual Elite Law Enforcement Fitness Challenge at Harry Wright Lake, with the top three teams representing our local communities.

The fitness challenge, which included 17 teams of four, puts the officers through grueling fitness tests like flipping huge truck tires, climbing fences and ropes, and a 5-mile run.

The top prize was claimed by "Stafford Township Police Team Blue", with two teams from Toms River pulling in at second and third places; "Toms River Township Police Team #1" scored the silver and "Toms River Township Police Team #2" brought home the bronze.

The best part, it was all for a great cause, with nearly $6,000 being raised for Ocean of Love.

Congratulations to all who took part, and our thanks for keeping us safe!
