I know that there are plenty of people who already have their holiday shopping lists either finished or just about finished.

But if you're a procrastinator like me, here are some key dates to keep in mind, at which point "waiting until the last minute" turns into "too late":

Individual retailers will have their own deadlines, but here are the publicized deadlines by the major carriers and Amazon, because, well, Amazon is a major carrier at this point!

Dec. 17: Last day for standard shipping (that's next Monday, everybody!)

Dec. 22: Last day for Amazon Prime free two-day shipping

Dec. 23: Last day for Amazon Prime free one-day shipping

Dec. 24: Last day for Amazon prime free same-day delivery

Dec. 17: Last day to ship via FedEx Ground and FedEx Home Delivery

Dec. 19: Last day to ship via FedEx Express Saver

Dec. 20: Last day to ship via FedEx 2Day A.M. and FedEx 2Day

Dec .21:  Last day to ship FedEx Standard Overnight, Priority Overnight and First Overnight

Dec. 25: FedEx SameDay, SameDay City Priority, SameDay City Direct (which will cost you between $40 - $50 extra)

Dec. 18: Last day to ship UPS 3-Day Select

Dec. 20: Last day to ship UPS 2nd Day Air

Dec. 21: Last day to ship UPS Next Day Air

Dec. 14: Last day to ship via USPS Retail Ground (that's this Friday!)

Dec. 20: Last day to use Priority Mail Service and First-Class Mail Service

Dec. 22: Last day to use Priority Mail Express Service
