Herbie's Tongue is Made for Licks

This sweet and goofy little character is Herbie, a 7-ish year old beagle mix that is hoping that his winning smile and outstanding personality gets him noticed quickly and into a great home. Herbie came to us from our Newark facility after the little fella was found as a lost and bewildered stray. His walking and control of his legs was a little off and he was actually thought to have had a seizure, but it seems that Herbie is just a little off himself. He is a bit neurological and his legs have a tendency to get ahead of his body, but it just adds to his charm and he gets around perfectly fine. He does have slightly elevated liver enzymes which he will need medication for but other than that, he's a happy and healthy guy that loves everyone he meets. He is super sweet, has a great sense of humor and will keep you laughing and having fun. He is well behaved and gets along with other dogs too. This little charmer will win you over the moment you meet him.
