Recently I was honored to join the corporate advisory board of Trinity Financial Sports & Entertainment Management Company, a division of Peter Grandich & Company which recently opened new offices in Spring Lake.

One of the things that attracted me was their involvement in civic and charitable causes like Thursday’s Team Shamrock Fundraiser at Bar A in Lake Como.  The event runs from 6-10 p.m. and will feature music by American Idol’s Jax as well as The Snakes.  Trinity Financial has donated a long list of autographed sports memorabilia from football, hockey and boxing stars as part of a gift auction and all proceeds from the event benefit Team Shamrock and the Tunnels for Towers Foundation as they help build smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans.

Tickets are $25 at the door with drink specials and a delicious barbeque.

Meanwhile 3-time Super Bowl champion Dan Klecko will be at Trinity’s office on Morris Avenue in Spring Lake tonight from 7-8pm.  Klecko won two Super Bowls with the Patriots and one with the Colts and is the son of former Jets great Joe Klecko.  Dan will be available for pictures and will be happy to sign autographs.

The 21 Plus Foundation will hold their 10th annual Golf Classic on Monday, July 11th at Oceanaire Golf & Country Club in Waretown.  Sponsored by Shore Community Bank the outing is a major fundraiser for the foundation whose mission is to provide diversified opportunities to enhance the quality of life for people with disabilities.

Since 1979 21 Plus has helped provide vocational, residential, employment and family support services and the Foundation is the charitable non-profit arm which assists with unmet needs.  Attorney Michael York is President of the Board of Directors and also a member of the golf committee and the schedule for July 11th includes lunch, a 12noon shotgun start and awards dinner afterwards.

For information on playing and/or sponsoring the outing you can visit 21plus.org.
