As Toms River is still recovering from the devastating fire on Washington Street this morning, heavy smoke has been spotted billowing from the area of Route 166 heading toward Beachwood.

UPDATE - The smoke has been attributed to a dumpster fire at Tri-State Recycling in South Toms River, which is now under control according to fire officials.

The area of 166 involved includes a number of automotive shops, marinas, and other businesses.

From the WOBM offices, smoke can be seen billowing from the area and emergency lights are also visible.
