Hazlet Man is Indicted for a Murder and Arson in Middletown

A 36-year-old Hazlet man remains incarcerated after being indicted for allegedly killing a Middletown woman and setting her house on fire in 2012.

A Monmouth County grand jury charged Darryl Petlock, also known as Isa Maajid, with first-degree murder, aggravated arson and weapons counts in the death of 40-year-old Lynn Moretti.

Petlock has been in the Monmouth County Correctional facility on $2.5 million dollars bail since 2012 after he was arrested in Brunswick, GA on an unrelated matter.
