The incident took place at around 12:25 PM, according to investigators. The homeowner told police she arrived at her Roosevelt Drive dwelling to find a man leaving her yard. Asked why he was there, he said he was delivering a package, say police. But she told investigators that there was no package to be found.

It was then, according to the report, that she found the back door of her house wide open. She found her master bedroom looted of jewelry.

The suspect was seen hopping into a beige mid-sized vehicle with a dark vinyl or cloth roof. He was last seen wearing khaki shorts and a striped Polo shirt. He's described as white, about 20 years old, 5'8" to 5'10" tall, with brown hair, hazel eyes and a heavy build.
