One of the unfortunate realities of life is the fact that a lot of the times that we interact with police, it's not always laid back and relaxing.

But a shore town wants to change that next week, as they invite community members to kick back and have "Coffee with a Cop".

Next Monday, July 24th, Wall Township Police will be hanging out at the McDonald's on Route 35 in Wall.

They're inviting anyone who'd like, to stop by and chat with their men and women in uniform.

Wall Township Police Chief Robert Brice says of the event:

We hope that community members will feel comfortable to ask questions, bring concerns, or simply get to know our officers
