It was on this day in History in 1915 the first Kiwanis Club was founded in Detroit.

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.

The Kiwanis Club of Toms River has been meeting on Monday evenings since 1924. Currently, their work is in support of Children's Specialized Hospital, Girl and Boy Scout Clubs, and other community programs and non-profit agencies.

Their membership includes prominent men and women of Ocean County. They represent education, healthcare, local business, and more. Their fundraising activities support the work we do and the impact we continue to make on our community.
