Happy Birthday to the iPod

It was this day in 2001 the first of the iPods were released by Apple.  It's the day we basically said good-bye to the Walkman CD player.

I remember going on long bike rides along the lake I used to live near holding the CD player in my hand while riding.  Do you remember doing that?  My CD's would skip.  The iPods are so much better and easier to exercise with.

Do you miss CD players?  Do you still have one?  I do!  And I still love playing CD's in the car sometimes!
