Halloween Has Not Been Cancelled in NJ
Regardless of what you may read on Facebook or other social media outlets, Halloween has not been cancelled in New Jersey.
The rumors began when parody new side "The Daily Currant" posted an article saying that Governor Christie has cancelled trick or treating due to Ebola concerns.
Of course the "humor" was lost on many people, and the article gained a life of its own, with panicked parents calling media outlets and townships throughout the state to see if the rumor was in fact true.
So we're here to let you know, for sure, there is no "Halloween Quarantine" in New Jersey.
You can bring your kids out trick or treating as you had planned.
Have fun, be safe, and send us your pictures!
