Gunshot death probe in Willingboro
A man's bullet-riddled body in a car in Willingboro sparks an investigation into what Burlington County and township investigators suspect is a homicide.
The victim is identified as Colby Rodgers, 31, of Mount Laurel. No suspects have been arrested in relation to the killing. Burlington County Medical Examiner Dr. Ian Hood will perform an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
A spokesman for county Prosecutor Robert Bernardi says Rodgers's remains were found in a car on the 600 block of Woodhaven Lane. Gunshots were reported at about 3:15 AM.
Investigators impounded the car.
The Prosecutor's office has, as yet, provided no details regarding the number of bullet wounds, the type and caliber of firearm, or the circumstances that indicate an apparent homicide.
This is a developing story. Check back for more details as they are issued.
