Gunman at Large after Shooting in Red Bank

A gunman is on the loose after shooting a Red Bank man in the Borough Wednesday night around 6:50 p.m., according to police.

NJ.com reports the unidentified 28-year-old victim was flown to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune after being shot numerous times while sitting in a vehicle in a driveway of a Willow Street home. Red Bank police Chief Darren McConnell said the gunman was standing by a sidewalk in front of the home. The shooter fled the area. No arrests have been made.

McConnell told NJ.com the victim underwent surgery and was in critical condition.
