Got Radio Dreams? Come Work For WOBM!
Have you ever been listening to the radio and thought, "hey, it would be really cool to work in radio"? Well, I can tell you two things:
1) It is!
2) You can find out for yourself!
That's right, 92.7 WOBM is hiring!
And we're looking for people in a number of different departments:
As you surely know, we're the Shore's sports leader! With The Shore Sports Network, Lakewood BlueClaws baseball, and more. We're looking for motivated and organized individuals to engineer our award-winning sports coverage. If you're detail oriented and tech savvy, we want to hear from you! If you have experience with audio engineering, that's great! But we're also willing to train the right candidates. Send your resume to the Programming team by clicking here, and be sure to let us know a bit about you in your cover letter email!
The WOBM Hometown Crew
You've seen them out at events throughout Ocean County; manning our tents, handing out free stuff, and hanging out at our Seaside Park boardwalk studio with the DJs - the WOBM Hometown Crew is a vital part of what we do! If you love getting out around the Shore in the summer and enjoy meeting new people, joining the WOBM Hometown Crew could be the perfect job for you! Just email our Promotions Director, Ted Maturo by clicking here, and introduce yourself with a cover letter and resume!
If you're a student looking to match up with an intern program for class credit, we can help you with that! Our interns get great experience in a variety of different departments. If you're studying broadcasting, business, advertising, or another related field and you need internship credit, go ahead and send Promotions Director Ted Maturo an email by clicking here!
Your radio dreams could start right here at Ocean County's Hometown Station! Or, maybe you're a seasoned broadcaster just looking to keep your skills sharp. Either way, you could be the next member of the WOBM air staff! We're always looking to discover the next radio star or to add a seasoned veteran to our roster of DJs. If this sounds like you, send your resume, a cover letter, and a demo of your on-air work to the Programming team by clicking here!
We also love jacks (and jills) of all trades! If you're someone looking to get your foot in the door and are willing to hustle and do the work, we've had people with no radio experience whatsoever go from interns and part-timers, to full-time employees and members of our air-staff!
So go ahead and reach out to us and get your radio career rolling!
