Good Sports of the Shore Conference
Sunday athletic administrators from the Shore Conference saluted senior student-athletes from 47 schools who were selected as their 2014 Sportsmanship award recipients during separate breakfast events in Ocean & Monmouth County.
Taking nothing away from our friends to the north I served as emcee for the Ocean County event which once again was held at the Clarion Hotel & Conference Center in Toms River. This was the 21st time in the 22 year history of the Sportsmanship Awards program that I have served as emcee to help salute those who best personify the ideals of fair play, citizenship, ethics and respect.
