Goo Goo Dolls, Daughtry Kick Off Super Bowl Week
The Goo Goo Dolls and Daughtry will kick off a week of Super Bowl activities with the Super Bowl Kickoff Spectacular concert at Liberty State Park.
The free concert, presented by the New York-New Jersey Super Bowl Host Committee, will be hosted by Fox Sports' Joe Buck and Erin Andrews along with sixth-season American Idol champion Jordin Sparks, organizers announced. Sparks' father Phillipi Sparks is a former Giants player.
A 13-minute fireworks display by Macy's will end the concert accompanied by a soundtrack featuring Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Alicia Keys, Lady Gaga and halftime performer Bruno Mars.
The concert and fireworks will air live on Fox Sports 1.
Tickets to watch the concert from the committee's warming lodge at the Maritime Parc Restaurant are $40 and include food and non-alcoholic drinks as well as a reserved vantage point for viewing the concert and fireworks.
Tickets for both events, as well as free parking parking passes, are available now at the committee's website, nynjsuperbowl.com.
Bruno Mars will headline the Super Bowl halftime show with the Red Hot Chili Peppers as the only officially announced act thus far.
