If you wanted to satisfy your Thin Mint fix in the past, you either had to know someone with a Girl Scout in the family, or find cookie sellers out and about town. Earlier this year, the Girl Scouts tested online sales, and it was such a success that they're expanding the program in the new year.

The iconic cookies already went through some changes in 2015, but one of the biggest was the pilot program to test out online sales in some markets.

Not surprisingly, it was a big success. I mean, let's be honest, why wouldn't you grab a few boxes of Samoas from the comfort of your own couch? So on the heels of the test in 2015, there are plans to expand the online ordering in 2016.

In fact, 90 percent of Girl Scout Councils will add digital sales to their cookie push in only a few weeks, with January, 2016 set for the rollout.
