This Fall is your opportunity to change your Medicare coverage during the annual open enrollment period, which starts October 15 and ends December 7. This is the time of year when everyone with Medicare can join or change their health plan or prescription drug plan for 2016. Depending on needs, you can switch coverage from Original Medicare to a Medicare Advantage plan, or vice versa. You also can switch your Part D plan. Any changes you make will take effect January 1, 2016.
