New Jersey gas prices are still on the decline, with more drops expected as we enter the fall season.

AAA Mid-Atlantic reports the state average price for a gallon of regular dropped to $3.21 this week, down a penny from a week ago.  That's $0.15 less than the national average of $3.36.

Burlington County reports the lowest per-gallon price at $3.18, while the Trenton area is the highest at $3.25. Gas Buddy's survey of New Jersey gas prices shows a few stations around the state have slipped below the $3.00 per gallon mark.

New Jersey drivers paid $3.72 per gallon one year ago.
