Fundraising efforts underway for Point Pleasant fire victims

A GoFundMe page is set-up online, seeking donations for a Point Pleasant family who lost nearly everything when their Miller Road home caught fire Saturday morning. 

Family members escaped unharmed, but three pet cats perished in the blaze.

Monetary and non-monetary donations for the Wexler/Townsend family can be dropped off at 709 Arnold Avenue in Point Pleasant.

After just one day of being created, the online fundraising campaign has raised $8,698 as of Monday morning.
