The U.S. Marshals Service lock up a fugitive child sex offender who has been on the run since 2004.

58-year-old Harvey Wayne Taylor was arrested Wednesday, along with his son Rocky,  at a residence on the 400 block of Ninth St. in Newtonville.

Taylor was wanted on a 2004 warrant for violation of probation in Brevard County, Fla.  He was on probation for aggravated sexual child abuse involving multiple counts of sexual battery on children under the age of 12.

Taylor and his son were taken to the New Jersey State Police Buena Vista Station.

Taylor is being held on fugitive of justice charges, eluding, hindering, resisting arrest and false statements.  His son is charged with hindering arrest and harboring a fugitive.
