The future plans for Fort Monmouth are still being ironed out. This week, a technology seminar will focus on bringing high-tech back to the former military base that spans multiple communities in Monmouth County.

On December 12th, the New Jersey Technical Council (NJTC) is having a data summit at Fort Monmouth to bring together technology  professionals and business leaders who are responsible for business continuity, disaster recovery, and business intelligence. The event will focus on  providing solutions for running large data sets in the finance and healthcare sectors.

The day opens with a plenary networking session, breakfast and keynote panel. Attendees will then have the opportunity to attend leadership  seminars/roundtables/discussions developed specifically for their network.  Participants meet back again for the Town Hall type discussion: Migrating to the  Cloud.  This is followed by a networking cocktail reception.

"Hundreds of technology professionals are expected to attend this exciting event", said Tinton Falls Mayor Michael Skudera who is part of the keynote panel.  "The NJTC continues to be a strong advocate for the technology sector.  This event is another positive step to help the local economy and for the future of  bringing additional technology jobs to Fort Monmouth".
