Ok, so first and foremost I have to say that I am not retracting my earlier commentary that July is way too early to put Halloween candy on sale.

But it definitely isn't too early to start polishing your inner zombie for this year's Fright Fest at Six Flags Great Adventure!

Auditions for the annual celebration of all things scary kick off next week!

The folks at Great Adventure are on the lookout for, "street zombies, haunted maze actors and performers with unusual skills" (unfortunately for me, I don't think that stuffing 15 marshmallows in my mouth is the kind of unusual skill that they're looking for).

The auditions all take place at the Employment Center on Route 537 and are on the following dates:

August 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, 18, 25 & 31

No previous experience is necessary, so if you've always wanted to scare the heck out of the public, this is the perfect opportunity to do so without someone calling the police!
