We need your help to raise money for Ocean County kids!

The Ocean County Breakfast Show are going into the ocean for a wonderful cause we love and stand by.  (okay..I'm the one getting wet). And I probably wouldn't do it for any other reason then Children's Specialized and for the children here in Ocean County.

Some hardy souls are bracing again to take a plunge into the chilly ocean this winter to raise money for children.

The New Jersey Elks 6th Annual Miracle Plunge “Freezin’ for a Reason” event is scheduled for Saturday, March 16, at the Asbury Park Convention Center.

Check in starts at 10 a.m. and the plunge is at noon.
Proceeds from the event benefit Children’s Specialized Hospital, the nation’s largest provider of pediatric rehabilitation services for children with special needs, the Elks of New Jersey’s Camp Moore, and Cooley’s Anemia Foundation.

Last year more than 300 people from all over the state dunked in the Atlantic and raised $100,000.

The proceeds help strengthen the fight against thalassemia ((thal-ah-SEE-mee-ah) and generate support for specialized health care for children.

Experience how the “Freezin’ for a Reason” event is a great way to generate support for Children’s Specialized Hospital and Cooley’s Anemia Foundation.

When:  Saturday March 16th, 2013

Where:  Asbury Park Convention Center in Asbury Park, NJ
