Henderson was convicted of: Possession of Heroin-third degree, Possession of Heroin with Intent to Distribute-third degree, Distribution of Heroin-third degree, Possession of Heroin with Intent to Distribute within 500 feet of a Recreational Zone-second degree, and Distribution of Heroin within 500 feet of a Recreational Zone-second degree, according to the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office.

Brick Township police investigators were conducting surveillance at the WaWa at the intersection of Lanes Mill and Burnt Tavern Roads when authorities said they observed a BMW sitting in the parking lot for 10 minutes without either of the two occupants going inside. The vehicle then drove across the street into a Dunkin Donuts parking lot and quickly exited, then turned into the Shell gas station next door. The BMW pulled behind a Lincoln parked at a gas pump. The BMW driver got into the back seat of the Lincoln, then quickly got out.

Detectives approached the vehicles and found Henderson behind the wheel of the Lincoln with $230 in his hand after giving the gas attendant $20. Henderson told police that the person who entered the Lincoln was an "old friend" coming over to say hello and that the two hadn't scheduled a meeting. The BMW driver gave a conflicting story.

During the arrest of the BMW driver, a struggle ensued, and a brick of heroin fell out of the suspect's pants, according to authorities. Both the driver and the passenger of the BMW admitted they went to the WaWa and the Shell gas station to buy heroin from Henderson for $250.

The gas station is located within 500 feet of Bernard Cooke Memorial Park.

The jury convicted Henderson on all counts after a quick period of deliberation. He could face 5 to years in prison for each of the counts.

Henderson remains in the Ocean County jail without bail pending sentencing. No date has been set.
