Traffic on Route 70 at Chambersbridge Road was diverted for two hours while medical aides and investigators tended victims and processed information concerning the collision involving Brianna Hollingsworth, 20, of Manchester, and Israel Shaliehsaboo, 19, of Lakewood.

Police believe that Hollingsworth, in a 2000 Dodge Durango, traveling north on Chambersbridge at about 1 AM, ignored a red signal at the highway intersection, and plowed into Shaleihsaboo's 2014 Nissan Altima that was headed west on 70.

The impact caused the Altima to flip repeatedly before it landed in the northwest corner of the junction, near the spot where Hollingsworth's SUV rolled to a stop.

All four were given medical treatment at the site, police said. Shaliehsaboo and passengers Samuel Peres and Yehud Morgenstern, Lakewood 20-year-olds, were taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. Hollingsworth was delivered to Ocean Medical Center in Brick.

Injuries to Hollingsworth, Shaleihsaboo and Peres are described as minor. Morgenstern suffered internal injuries, police said.

Information from police does not indicate the estimated speeds of either vehicle, road, weather or lighting conditions, whether all drivers and riders wore seat restraints, whether either driver was distracted, or whether blood alcohol content tests were administered to either driver..
