A clandestine meeting in the woods of Barnegat ends with four drug arrests and the seizure of significant amounts of heroin and crack cocaine.

Larry J. Daniels, 26, was sent to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River on $100,000 bail Monday, after a search of his Hawthorne Lane house by members of Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph Coronato's Special Operations Group and the county's regional SWAT team. Three others were charged and released on summonses.

Investigators say they seized 125 individual doses of heroin and about 10 grams of crack.

According to information from Coronato's office, the warrant was obtained after detectives observed Daniels meeting in a wooded spot near his home with Laura Mooney, 32, of Barnegat; Jonathan P. Locilento, 41, of Lanoka Harbor; and Steven G. Byk, 40, of East Windsor.

Daniels is charged with possession of heroin, possession of cocaine,  possession with intent to distribute both, and heroin distribution.

Mooney is charged with possession of heroin, possession with intent to distribute and distribution. Locilento and Byk were charged with possession of heroin.

Barnegat and Stafford Township police assisted in the investigation and raid.
