Earlier this week, I showed you this absolutely pathetic example of poor sportsmanship; a softball player violently elbowing opposing players that were coming around to score. Well, let's turn the dial in the total opposite direction with an amazing example of good sportsmanship!

In this video, Major League Baseball star Matt Kemp, who was playing for the Los Angeles Dodgers at the time, not only gives a special needs fan an autographed ball, but literally gives the kid the shirt off of his back.

Not only that, but this is even at a rival team's home park - The San Francisco Giants' AT&T Park. Watch:

Matt Kemp gives gear to fan This is AWESOME.From the YouTube description: "Matt Kemp is sucha great person. He came over after the game and made one of my best friends night :) he's fighting a tough battle and this was sucha great gift by Matt Kemp ! I'll never forget this."http://youtu.be/WZUXTUrj4WMH/t http://www.vinscullyismyhomeboy.com/

I've always respected Kemp as an outstanding athlete, but I respect him even more as an outstanding human being now.
