Following yesterday’s horrific events in Boston, we asked if and how you plan to talk to your kids about an event like this. We have a follow up today with some valuable expert advice.

Boston Children’s Hospital’s “Health Blog” has some great suggestions, like:

Answer questions simply and honestly.

Limit their exposure to media…

Make sure they know that events like these are very rare.

And, I think the very best piece of advice for all of us:

Give lots of extra hugs. They will help you, too.
