The long and hard efforts of Donna Setaro helped lead to the passage of the law.

The Move Over Law requires vehicles to move over at least one lane when passing police and other emergency response vehicles parked on the side of highways. Setaro hopes the law will prevent any future accidents like the crash which took the life of her son.

Setaro's idea has led to the installation of the first Move Over Sign on the fence of the Lacey High School Football Field.   In addition, she has also started a campaign to have a sign installed on every football field in New Jersey.

Setaro will address the topic when attending the New Jersey State Chiefs meeting this coming Thursday September 6TH.
