Fire Destroys Another Tent at Lakewood Homeless Camp

Another fire at the Tent City homeless encampment in Lakewood reduces a tent to ashes. According to the Lakewood Scoop, the fire occurred at around 3 o'clock about 100 yards into the woods off Cedar Bridge Avenue. The Township fire department called in a brush truck to help battle the flames. No one was inside the tent at the time. Fire Marshals are investigating.

This is the second tent fire in Tent City since January a third tent was destroyed near the encampment in December.
