Fatal Crash Probe Under Way in Tinton Falls

A crash on Route 537 in Tinton Falls that sources say left one person dead late this morning remains under investigation this afternoon.

Authorities blocked the county highway at Hope Road in order to sort through evidence and debris.

Still to be revealed are the number and identities of cars, drivers and passengers involved, the extent of injuries, and contributing factors.

The closure is between the Parkway and Route 35. Pinebrook Road offers a narrow nearby alternate.
