A Marlton man who police say is the culprit of at least two home burglaries in December is arrested and charged with two counts of 3rd degree burglary and theft.

Evesham Police also found 30-year old Justin Malatesta in possession of heroin (3rd degree charge), hypodermic needles and drug paraphernalia (also 3rd degree offenses) upon his arrest.

After police say he committed the burglaries on December 13 on Elberta Lane and another on December 24 on Red Haven Drive, both during the day, he then allegedly sold the goods to a local pawn shop where he was identified.

Malatesta was arrested at his Elberta Lane home Tuesday and was arrested without incident.

A search of the home found heroin, drug paraphernalia and possible additional burglary proceeds from unknown homes.

Malatesta was lodged in the Burlington County Jail with no bail.
