Ever Walk Out Of A Movie?
I need to confess something. This weekend I did something I had only done once before in my life. I walked out of a movie. "Hercules" starring Dwayne Johnson is full of violent battle scenes and I just couldn't take it anymore. Plus the monotone way in which "The Rock" delivered many of his lines made me yearn for some better acting. So I went across the hall to the theatre which had Diane Keaton and Michael Douglas on screen.
Have you ever walked out of a movie? Care to name names and tell us which one? The only other film I gave up on mid-way was "Fresh Horses" in 1988. It starred Molly Ringwald and Andrew McCarthy who were so great in "Pretty In Pink."
"Hercules" is doing well at the box-office and I'm sure a lot of people are finding a lot to like about it, such as the impressive special effects, but it just wasn't my cup of tea.
If you have ever bailed on a film mid-way through, please let us know in the comments section below. Or if you have any summer movies you'd recommend, we're all ears.
