Chocolate Cupcake with Chocolate-Covered Pretzels – Erica’s Sweets [RECIPE]

The Chocolate Wonder: Chocolate Cupcake With Chocolate-Covered Pretzels
Cake Recipe Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup softened salted butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup melted chocolate
Preparation:
- Cream butter & sugar
- Add eggs and vanilla to creamed mix
- In a seperate bowl mix flour, cocoa, baking soda & salt
- Add dr mix to creamed mix & aternate with adding milk & water
- Add melted chocolate
- Put in greased cupcake trays. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 - 20 minutes. Let cool before removing from tray & icing.
Icing Recipe Ingredients:
- 1 Cup softened salted butter
- 3 Cups confectionary sugar
- 1/2 Cup cocoa
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 4 tbs half & half or milk
Preparation:
- Cream butter to soften
- Add rest of ingredients (add more half & half if you want less thick)
Pretzel
- Crush pretzel rods into small bite size pieces
- Melt chocolate and mix with pretzel pieces
- Use more or less depending on size
- Let cool in fridge to harden
