Erica's a part of our Promotions Crew here at WOBM. Her dream is to have a bakery. Everything she makes is deliciously home-made. She is fantastic. Every Friday morning she brings her "sweets" to us in the studio to try out on the air!
Christmas Cake Pops
Holiday Cake pops
Ingredients
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup softened salted butter
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 3/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup milk
-Cream together butter and sugar
-Add eggs and vanilla
-In a separate bowl, combine flour and baking powder
-Add the dry mix to wet mix
-Add milk
Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes
Let cool and crumble
Make any type of icing you'd like. For this recipe it is a simple butter cream
Combine icing and crumbled cake. Form into balls and refrigerate for at least an hour to set
In a crockpot, melt chocolate with 1 tbs oil ( this will make the chocolate smoother and less thick)
-First dip a lollipop stick into the chocolate and stick into the cake ball.
- Dip each cake pop into chocolate
-Decorate and refrigerate
Bring to a holiday party and impress all of the guests! Enjoy :)
