Robinson Marvilus, 26, of Elizabeth is wanted in connection with the discovery of 118 bags of heroin found in the car that police stopped for an equipment violation at the Asbury Circle on November 4.

According to police, Officers David Marino and Christopher Clune learned of an active warrant against Marvilus during the stop, and arrested him.

They also asked about bullet holes riddling the car. Neither Marvilus nor passenger Lesly Valentin, 30, of Asbury Park, could explain them, police said.

The officers impounded the car and then searched it on November 6, which was when the drugs were found. Marvilus and Valentin were charged with possession of heroin and cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Valentin was arrested on Wednesday, November 18, by New Jersey State Police on unrelated drug charges, and is held in the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in Freehold on $20,000 bail.

Marvilus remains on the loose.
