Electric Utilities Lower Rates

JCP+L and Atlantic City Electric customers will be paying a little less for their electricity starting March 1.

The Board Of Public Utilities approved the company's request Friday to shave off a little over 3 percent from their rates. The companies are passing on cheaper wholesale energy prices realized during a recent energy auction.

Customers are also expected to see additional savings this summer.
