A topic of conversation that's come up a couple times here at work has been Eddie Money's recent appearance in a Geico commercial. They've had a series of commercials where Geico makes people "happier than...", and in this one the joke is "....happier than Eddie Money owning a travel agency", after he warbles through his 1978 hit "Two Tickets to Paradise".

The joke is cute, and the tradition of celebrities doing commercials is as old as advertising itself. The question of whether celebrities should be doing commercials is something else all together.

Some celebrities have become synonymous with particular brands, while others end up on the wrong side of jokes because of their endorsements.

Check out the video below and tell us in the comments section - do you think Eddie Money is desperate to be relevant a good 30 years after his fame peak, or is he just having some fun here?
