Tuesday, April 22nd .... Is Earth Day 2014

I think the environment should be put in the category of our national security. Defense of our resources is just as important as defense abroad. Otherwise, what is there to defend? ~ Robert Redford

First celebrated in 1970 .... Now 44 years later Earth Day continues to try and help support environmental protection ..... It's celebrated now in 192 Nations around the World.

Ways To Help Earth

  • Recycle
  • Reduce Energy Consumption
  • Eat Less Meat
  • Buy Local Produce
  • End Junk Mail

If we try to think of overcoming the Worlds environmental problems it can be overwhelming,  but if we all do a few things in our every day lives.....it all adds up! So on Earth Day try and do one thing to make a difference ..... Pick up that stray water bottle and recycle, turn off lights your not using, turn the TV off if its just background sound and educate yourself about ways to further help protect our environment.
