New Jersey U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman's office says that Brown, 24 - also known as Edward Brown, Eddie Brown, Eddie Cane, and Cane - was apprehended quietly about 9:30 last night by FBI Task Force officers and members of the Atlantic City Police Department.

Brown's arraignment takes place this afternoon before U.S. Magistrate Judge Joel Schneider in Camden federal court.

The onetime Atlantic County resident became a fugitive shortly after his initial arrest on drug-trafficking charges by local law enforcement. He was indicted by a federal grand jury in 2012, charged with conspiracy to distribute heroin.
