Drug Activity Probe Leads to Arrests in Barnegat

Lots of early morning police activity on a Barnegat street early Thursday morning. Police say after a two-month investigation into drug activity, search warrants were executed at 61 and 99 Lexington Boulevard at around 6 a.m. 31-year-old Antwon Jackson, 20-year-old Imeerah Peten and 23-year-old Ivory Cross were all arrested and charged with Marijuana Possession and released pending a future court date. Police say marijuana was also confiscated from the homes.

Assisting with the investigation and execution of warrants were the Stafford Township Narcotics Unit, Ocean County Regional SWAT Team and K9 units from Barnegat, Stafford and the Little Egg Harbor Police Departments.
