Police are asking for the public's help in tracking down the driver of a vehicle wanted for questioning in connection with an alleged aggravated assault at a Hamilton shopping center.

Police say the incident took place Saturday at about 11:15 a.m. at the Mercerville Shopping Center on Route 33 in Hamilton. Following a verbal dispute, the suspect physically assaulted the victim, according to authorities. The victim sustained injuries and was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center for treatment, police said in a statement Sunday. The suspect then fled in a blue car.

Police say the vehicle has damage to the front quarter panel on the passenger side. It's also missing the hubcap on the front passenger side and the side marker/blinker light on the same side.

The driver of the vehicle is wanted for questioning, police say. he is described as a white male, approximately 25 to 35 years old. Police say he is about 6 feet tall with ear-length light brown hair. He was last seen wearing a blue, striped polo-style shirt and tan pants.
