Does Your Car Match Your Personality?

As I was heading down the Parkway this morning on my way to work, I was approaching Exit 82, and a souped up Honda Civic with NY plates and all the bells and whistles came zooming down the highway, passing everyone on the right. I figured it had to be the worst of the types of Bennys.

Then, as the car approached me, I looked to my right and saw what looked like a little, hunched over octogenarian, in those "I just had my eyes dilated at the optometrist" sunglasses, and a baseball cap with the foam front and mesh back.

The lesson? You can't always make assumptions based on what someone is driving.

But sometimes you can. Sometimes the person driving the gigantic SUV from lane to lane, cutting people off and going 20mph over the speed limit is a jerk. Sometimes the person driving the hybrid at a sensible speed is a little bit of a hippie.

But sometimes not.

Personally, I think my car fits my personality to a degree. It's sensible from a gas economy standpoint, but it's a little sporty and sometimes I drive just a little faster than I should. And it's an unusual color so it kind of stands out when maybe it isn't a good idea to do so.
