Vintage baseball is a reenactment of baseball life from the 1850s, 1860s and 1880s.

Players dress in a uniform that fits that time period.  When you're at a vintage baseball game the way they played and the speech of that time period are used during the game.

We are familiar with and word "baseball".  The spelling used before the 1880s was "base ball" with the space in between the words.
