Do It Duo For Pets – 5 K Fundraiser

In the wake of Hurricane Sandy which hit the New Jersey Coastline in October 2012, the Do It Duo was inspired to help our friends who are oftentimes forgotten during disaster recovery. Although there are many shelters and organizations who go and save the pets, they are still in need of basic food and supplies. The Do It Duo believes no pet should be forgotten. Big or small – We Help Them All.

The Do It Duo, Alex and Lucy, will distribute food and supplies to domestic animals and will assist shelters who are housing displaced and surrendered pets during disaster recovery. By providing to pet food pantries, delivering food and supplies to shelters and families, domestic animals will be taken care of while their families recover and rebuild. Their mission is to educate the public about adoption, rescue and the need for spaying, neutering and microchipping. Do It Duo for Pets provides disaster relief, educates, advocates and promotes healthy relationships with pets.

The 5K Run/Walk is Saturday, September 14th at Thompson Park in Lincroft
