I'm surprised that I didn't notice something out of place in my neighborhood until today. As I was heading out of the neighborhood to come to work I noticed one home with something unusual - Christmas decorations. In the middle of February.

Now look, I get that some people like to extend the holiday cheer and leave their decorations up for a little while after December 25th. For most, New Years Day is usually the day to take down the lights and inflatable lawn ornaments.

What made the scene particularly sad was the deflated Santa lifelessly draped across the gutter.

But it wasn't just a matter of not being able to get to the roof to remove the Jolly Old Elf for the season, there was still a fully inflated one on the front lawn as well.

When I got to work, I casually mentioned this to a co-worker, who said that someone in his neighborhood also still had their Christmas decorations up.

So when do you think the Christmas decorations should come down? Are there any still up in your neighborhood? Chime in on the comments section and let us know!
