Sunday is my big TV day - a number of my favorite shows are on Sunday night. But I missed all of them last night because I got so pulled into HBO's "The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst". And, from what I'm hearing around the office and seeing on Facebook today, I wasn't the only one.

I remember seeing promos for the mini-series months ago that piqued my interest. I wasn't familiar with the Robert Durst story, but well done true crime documentaries are always engaging.

When I saw last night that the special was trending on Facebook, I was reminded about it and checked out Episode 1 through my on demand menu.

The next 4 1/2 hours of my Sunday night were consumed by the bizarre twists and turns that the cases have taken over the last 30 years.

The series was so well made, giving you just enough to keep you through one episode to the next, that I recorded my favorite shows; "The Walking Dead", "Shameless", "Episodes", and others, in favor of the carrot that the makers of "The Jinx" dangled in front of the audience through the whole series.

And I wasn't disappointed. I won't spoil anything, but it all perfectly set up the bombshell that many people are talking about around water coolers today.

If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend checking it out.

If you did see it, what did you think? Weigh in on the comments!
